Jay County Jr-Sr High JROTC Program

Cadets in Jay County Jr-Sr High School’s Junior ROTC program began practice for upcoming Raider Challenge competitions. Raider Challenge Competitions are athletic competitions held at JROTC programs around the nation. Competitions take place outdoors and consist of individual strength events (push-ups, tire-drag, obstacle course, etc), distance team running events, first aid events, rope bridge construction and water crossing. These events promote physical fitness and allow students to apply leadership lessons learned in the classroom.

We wish our students the best in their upcoming events and express our appreciation to Command Sergeant Major (Ret) Steven Bishop for helping us provide this program to our youth.
