4 German students and one of our foreign exchange students recently participated in the annual "Staatskongress", an event hosted by Ball State University for the Indiana Association of Students of German featuring different competitions and cultural workshops for German students from high schools across the state. Isaac Braun won a first place ribbon in German Grammar Level 4, a 3rd place ribbon for Sight Reading Level 4 and a 3rd place ribbon for the advanced Quiz Bowl on Holidays in Germany. Anastasiya Fomina won a 2nd place ribbon in Sight Reading Level 2. Alex Ardizzone won a 3rd place ribbon for Sight Reading Level 4 and a 3rd place ribbon for the advanced Quiz Bowl on Holidays in Germany. Evan Toney won a 1st place ribbon in German Grammar level 2 and a 3rd place ribbon in German Culture and Trivia Level 2. Lotta Birkert participated as an exchange student from Germany.
