As you attend Jay County JR SR High School events, please see the following message from the Jay County JR SR High School Athletic Department:
As a reminder, any student in Junior High or younger must be accompanied by an attending adult to attend Jay County Jr./Sr. High School athletic events. This is aimed at ensuring student safety. This also applies to all home and away games. A responsible adult (parent, guardian, or designated individual over 18) must be present throughout the event. Entry will only be granted to students with an attending adult. This promotes both safety and a family-friendly atmosphere. Parents are encouraged to arrange proper supervision and contact the school with any questions.

Jay Schools will be in session following the two hour delay due to fog this morning. Redkey doors open at 9:40 am with students being in their classrooms by 9:55 am. As a reminder, breakfast is not served on two hour delays. Thanks!

Just a reminder that Bearcreek Farms order forms are due this Friday, September 27, 2024. Please make sure to turn in the order form with the money. The order form(s) should have the student name written on them. Thanks for your support!
All K-6 schools including Preschool at the Shanks and West Jay sites will be in-person for 9.24.24 and will resume classes as scheduled. This will continue to be in person as these sites were not impacted by the tornado and internet and phone service has been restored.
Redkey will continue with Hawaiian/Tourist Day OR if you choose, it can be pajama day.(tennis shoes required)
This evening, Jay County Jr-Sr High was impacted by a tornado and sustained significant damage in a portion of the building. There have been no reports of injuries associated with this incident. As a result, the Jay School Corporation will be closed tomorrow, September 23rd, 2024, (no eLearning / Remote Learning).
We are currently conducting a thorough assessment of the site with local emergency management officials. We will provide an update tomorrow afternoon.
