WJE Student Council Sponsors Food Drive for the Dunkirk Food Pantry

During the week of November 15th, 2021, the West Jay Elementary Student Council sponsored a canned/boxed food drive for the Dunkirk Food Pantry. Students were able to collect approximately 1,500 cans/boxes of food for the pantry!! A contest between classrooms was held to see who could collect the most food items. First place went to Ms. Rion's class. Second place went to Ms. Coon's class. There was a tie for third place between Mrs. Bantz and Mrs. Andreshak's first-grade classrooms. Thank you to all West Jay Elementary families for making donations to help others in need in our community!
