Today, our students, staff, and community came together to recognize and thank the brave men and women who have served our country. Students proudly honored their
family members, friends, and neighbors who are veterans.
Before the ceremony began, our veterans were treated to donuts and coffee, and IU Health generously provided free blood pressure screenings for our honored guests. During art class, students created beautiful paintings for each veteran in attendance, which were presented during introductions as a small token of gratitude.
Our students filled the gym with music—singing patriotic songs and performing the official military anthems for each branch. Veterans stood as their branch’s song was played, receiving appreciation from all.
We are so thankful to our veterans for their service, courage, and sacrifice. Today and every day, we honor you!
