East Jay Elementary

Shop with a Badge reminds us what wearing a badge is really all about — caring for others, giving back, and building community. 💙 This program helps bring Christmas joy to local children, but it also creates meaningful moments of connection, trust, and hope between kids and the officers who protect and support our town and OUR SCHOOL.

During the event, our officers — along with other community “badges” such as law enforcement, fire, and EMS — are paired with a child and spend time shopping together for gifts, clothing, and other holiday essentials. Those smiles, that excitement, and the shared experience are truly unforgettable.

Our East Jay staff has been donating over the past couple of weeks to support our own school security officers participating in this wonderful program, and we’re proud to be part of the kindness it brings to our community. 💙🎄
