East Jay Elementary students celebrated Pi Day a little early today by showing off their memory skills and reciting the most numbers after the decimal of Pi!
Our winners are:
3rd Grade: Eli Edmundson – 12 digits
4th Grade: Autumn Wittkamp – 37 digits
5th Grade: Cambria Layton – 102 digits
Autumn and Cambria also held winning titles last year—what an impressive accomplishment!
Each winner received a mini pie today and will be recognized during Monday morning announcements.
East Jay Elementary 6th grade math students in Mrs. Moeller’s classes also celebrated Pi Day early today with their own challenge—reciting as many numbers after the decimal of Pi as they could from memory!

3rd Place: Madelyn Flusche – 67 digits (a pretty fun number for Pi Day!)
