Monday, December 7th, 2020 will be Holiday Spirit Day!!! Students and staff are encouraged to wear anything and everything that is red and green to help us with our Holiday Spirit at Westlawn Elementary!!!
Free Food Box Giveaway!
Glad Tidings Church will be distributing free food boxes drive-thru style here at the Westlawn Elementary parking lot on Saturday, December 5th 2020, from 2-4 PM. Please pull into the line, open your trunk , and a volunteer will place the box in your car.

Westlawn Families: Just a friendly Westlawn Elementary reminder that tomorrow ( and every Wednesday until the end of school) we will be starting school on a two hour delay. Students may begin entering the building at 9:40 AM. Dismissal will be at normal time of 2:35 PM.
A reminder to everyone that we will begin our planned weekly 2 Hour Delay on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, to provide teachers additional time to prepare and plan instruction and support for students. This delay will apply to our elementary students (K-6). Jay County Jr-Sr High will follow their Remote Learning Schedule this Wednesday (7-12).

Beginning today, breakfast in the classroom WILL NOT be served on days in which we have 2 and 3 three hour delays.

Westlawn Elementary will host a food pantry TODAY from 3-5 PM for all Westlawn Elementary families and staff! This year we will continue the no contact distribution process. We are asking that families follow the instructions below:
1. Please line up in your car using the map below.
2. Please remain in your cars and pop the trunk or hatch.
3. Your food bag will be placed in your vehicle.
4. Please follow the line around to Pearl Stree to exit.

their support for being drug free!!!

All Westlawn Elementary students will continue to be offered FREE breakfast and lunch regardless of free, reduced, and paid lunch status for the rest of the 2020-2021 school year.

Westlawn Elementary Three Hour Delay Reminder:
* ARRIVAL TIME: On a three hour delay students can be dropped off starting at 10:40 AM and must be in their classrooms by 10:55 AM.
* DISMISSAL TIME: On a three hour delay students will be dismissed from school one hour later at 3:35 PM.

Westlawn Warriors tomorrow is Red, White, and Blue day in support of JC Jr/Sr High Homecoming!! Be sure to wear as much Red, White, and Blue as you can!!!! Go Patriots!
Westlawn Warriors don't forget that tomorrow is TOON DAY!! Come to school dressed as your favorite cartoon (no face or hair paint please). Also, we ask that students not dress in gory or violent attire. We are dressing up tomorrow in support of the JCHS Homecoming week!! Go Patriots!!

The Jay School Corporation will be testing our new mass notification phone and texting system this coming Friday, September 25, 2020.
