
East Jay Elementary 6th grade math students in Mrs. Moeller's class celebrated Pi Day with a competition to see how many decimal places of Pi they could memorize. Winners of the Pi competition earned a sweet reward—a mini pie!

East Jay Elementary celebrated National Pi Day with both pie and Pi. Students in grades 3-5 put their memory skills to the test, competing to see how many digits of Pi they could recite.

Happy National Read Across America Day!
Today, our East Jay Elementary students had a special treat as NHS students from the high school came to read with them. They also handed out bookmarks, and we had some very special guests—The Cat in the Hat, along with Thing 1 and Thing 2.

East Jay Elementary Student Council Announcement
Today, all East Jay Elementary students will be bringing home Tootsie Roll banks. Students are encouraged to fill the banks with donations to support United Way of Jay County and return them to school.
As part of this fundraiser, Student Council is hosting dress-up days for everyone to join in the fun. Check the attached schedule for details on each themed day.
