This annual award honors individuals who have significantly contributed to the mission of the Jay School Corporation over an extended period of time.
Each nominee is evaluated, first and foremost, on the impact of his or her service to the students and staff of the Jay School Corporation. The outstanding services performed must have significantly benefited the school district over time. Servant leadership is highly valued, and the nominee’s public image and character will be of paramount consideration, as well.
Nominees must be past employees, or otherwise have worked for the district in a previous paid status, and are no longer actively employed by the district as a full time employee or as a serving school board member. Nominees must have at least 20 years of service to the district.
